We suggest to provide in a first step “All risks mortality” covers against illness and accident on a facultative basis. In our opinion it would be hazardous to implement in this stage a loss of profit insurance for this business line.
As already mentioned, we would be prepared to support you in the livestock reinsurance under the following conditions:
Cover: Death and emergency slaughtering caused by: - Accident - Illness - Fire & Lightning - Subsidence and Landslide - Windstorm - Flood
Deductible: 5-7% of TSI per farm and per event (depending on the premiums rate)
Exclusions: - All epidemics mentioned under "list A and list B diseases" by the OIE (Office International des Epizooties). See also: http://www.oie.int/ - Destruction, confiscation, nationalisation, requisition, or quarantine by order of any government, public or local authority, or any person or body having jurisdiction.
